I set all of my Security Zones to be much more restrictive than the defaults for each zone, so your suggestion won't work for me. The specific setting for the applicable security zone that affects this behavior is "Launching applications and unsafe files" - I had mine set to "Prompt", which produces the described dialog. Changing the setting to "Enable" of course eliminates the dialog, while changing the setting to "Disable" produces a "Security Alert" dialog stating that "Your current security settings do not allow this action."«/\/\Ø|ö±ò\/»®©https://www.blogger.com/profile/04886149439479604072noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20977280.post-59149617047074779962007-01-19T16:33:00.000-06:002007-01-19T16:33:00.000-06:00You can fix this by going to Internet Options/Secu...You can fix this by going to Internet Options/Security, click on Local Intranet and then click the Sites button. Then suddenly, MS's magically craptastic code stops guessing at whether a share is local or external, and it stops hassling you about it. Ran into that today myself...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
